Nothing feels more self-accomplishing than seeing the difference your hard work can make to a community first-hand. After fundraising money in your home country, see where all of your money goes to. And even get involved in building, through our construction volunteering in Kenya programs.
What will I be doing?
Construction volunteering means just that – construction! How much you get involved with the charity building work is entirely up to you, your capabilities, experience and willingness to assist.
Rieko currently has two types of construction volunteering programs in Kenya:
Where will I volunteer?
Migori county has a vast population of underprivileged people who are in dire need of your help. Migori County is based in south-west Kenya bordering Tanzania, Lake Victoria and the Masaai Mara. Follow the links above for further details on project locations.
How long will the placement take?
Program lengths depend on the type of program you choose to do. In order for you to see a project through to completion, expect to volunteer for a minimum of 3 weeks, however many can take as long as 3 months depending on the project size. Follow the links for more information on the length of construction volunteering projects in Kenya.
Who can apply?
Anyone can apply on our construction volunteering programs in Kenya provided that you have a passion for making a difference in communities that we work in and are reasonably physically fit. More details can be found on the links above.
